How to add a fundraising URL
This article is for charities wanting to add the fundraising URL for a fundraiser.
Adding a fundraising URL has a number of benefits:
- People interested in fundraising for your charity will be encouraged by seeing other people fundraising - helping to generate more leads for your events
- Existing fundraisers will be motivated by their fellow fundraisers
- We display fundraising leaderboards across the website - so having good fundraisers within your team will help increase your charity profile in these leaderboards
To add a fundraising URL, login to MyTOD and go to 'Leads':
- If the lead is in progress, go to the 'In progress' tab and click 'Confirm' to confirm the sign up and add the fundraising URL, target and deadline
- If the lead is already confirmed, go to the 'Sign ups' tab and click 'Add fundraising' to add the fundraising URL, target and deadline
Once the fundraising URL has been added:
- The lead will be shown in the 'Fundraising' tab with current values
- The fundraising amount will be displayed in event communities and leaderboards on the website
- Our system will automatically update the fundraising amount every week
