# I would like to add an event to my profile

| Adding an event gives people the ability to cheer, sponsor and possibly even join you if you have a public or followers profile!

From your MyTOD feed:
* click on 'Post Update';
* click on activity type, eg run, walk, cycle;
* on the activity form, you have the option to select whether this is your own activity or an organised event, and whether you are fundraising.

| For organised events, you have the option to search for and bookmark the event page on the TimeOutdoors website so that it shows in your following list on your MyTOD feed.  This provides a quick and easy way to find the event from your MyTOD feed at any time.
