# How do I add or update charity places in 3rd party events?

||| This article is for charities with places in 3rd party events such as Great North Run.
|| Please note there is no way for charities to recruit own place participants using timeoutdoors - only add details if you have bought guaranteed places.

Please [login to your account](https://www.timeoutdoors.com/signin) and select the **Charity places** button.

# To update an existing charity place

* Select the **Update** button for the relevant charity place and make the changes.
* Once you've finished making your changes, confirm the details when prompted - this will let us know you want the changes to go live.
* We'll then quality check the updates and publish them on the site.

# To add a new charity place

* Select **Add new charity place** and enter the details requested.
* Once you've finished adding the details, confirm the details when prompted - this will let us know you want the charity place to go live.
* We'll then quality check the details and publish it on the site.

|| Alternatively please email charities@timeoutdoors.com with details of the charity place - we'll then add it to your account.

# To remove a charity place

* Select the **remove** icon for the relevant event (red bin).
* This temporarily removes the charity place.
